Timothy A. Stead, FNP, is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who has been providing care at Ahearn & Associates Medical Center since 2013. With more than 40 years of healthcare experience, Tim brings a broad clinical background including surgical technology, emergency medicine, cardiopulmonary care, public health, and long-term patient management.
Throughout his career, Tim has worked in operating rooms, cardiopulmonary units, emergency departments, home health, outpatient care, and long-term care settings. At AAMC, he cares for patients in the clinic and in area nursing homes, bringing a wide range of experience to patients with routine and complex healthcare needs.
Tim is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He earned his Master of Science degree in Public Health Nursing and Family Practice from the University of Illinois Chicago.
His approach to care emphasizes building long-term relationships with patients, collaborative treatment planning, patient education, preventive care, and helping individuals better understand and manage their health.
